Dizziness
Question:
I’m 40 years old, has got dizziness three to four times a day recently, each lasted around a few seconds, (no vomiting, no headaches and sleep well) What is the cause dizziness? Dose it caused from menopause or other reasons? Which part of body should I check? Thank you for your time!

Answer:
There can be a number of reasons for having dizzy spells. Most common ones are low blood pressure, low adrenal function, low blood sugar and transient ischemic attack when the blood flow through the arteries in the neck is temporarily reduced because of the degenerative changes in the cervical vertebrae.
Brain scan will not be conclusive and a x-ray of the neck is not always needed. This symptom can go away if your overall health is improved.
