Dr. Alexander Yuan studied in two progressive colleges in the United States in the late 1960's and early 70's and earned his bachelor degree from New College of Florida in Natural Science. Due to his increasing enthusiasm towards natural medicine, after working for four years in IBM in Hong Kong, he immigrated to Canada to begin further studies in natural medicine. He received his :

Dr, Yuan has never ceased attending seminars and courses in natural healing all over the world, and actively participate in study tours and international health conferences. He holds membership in numerous medical and health organizations.
Since returning to Hong Kong in 1987, Dr. Alexander Yuan has been devoted to the cause of reforming modern health care system. While pioneering the introduction of homeopathy, western natural medicine and colon hydrotherapy in Hong Kong, he is also one of the most vocal critic against medical monopoly perpetuated by the allopathic (conventional) medical organization in Hong Kong and has been actively promoting freedom of healthcare choice for patients and practitioners alike.
Dr. Alexander Yuan, a Naturopath, Homeopath and TCM. He has been practicing medicine for over 40 years.
Dr. Alexander Yuan founded the Optimum Health Centre in 1987 and Green Concepts Health Shop in 1992. He established Better Hong Kong Movement Association in 2003 and ran for legislative council in 2008. His policy statements can be found in www.betterhongkong.com. He started his own web radio station - Better Hong Kong Radio in 2006, now renamed as SourceWadio (www.sourcewadio.com) in which Dr. Yuan explore various solutions to our problems and on natural healing. He founded the Asian Homeopathic Institute in 2013 which offer Homeopathic training.

Over the years, over 100 interviews on natural medicine by various local and foreign media, such as TV, radio, magazine and newspapers. More than 100 speeches and lectures for local universities, overseas conferences and various civic organizations such as Rotary Clubs, Lions Club, etc.
